I must admit this is every boys dream when you are 15 years old it’s funny, reminiscent and with a tear jerk sad ending . But it is essentially a Paedophile movie… lets say the rolls were reversed 30year old man has sec with 15 school girl…. It paints a very different outcome 😳
There's no need to think about what would have happened if the roles of the man and woman were reversed. I think it's best to just accept the story and evaluate it honestly. For example, there are movies like "Lolita" that can help with what you say. It's probably don't feel clean and beautiful. It in "Summer of '42" It's do. Why? Perhaps it's because the concept of the original is different in the first place.
@@lemikeyles well i loved this movie when i first saw it on UK TV in mid 1980’s, but it is what it is…predatory. It maybe a emotional filled encounter because the Jennifer O’Neil character who just lost her husband in WW2, the audience sympathies with her. Its great for the boy. Like I said its a young boys dream come true especially for a virgin… the whole film plays around them trying to get laid. But isn’t that the whole argument its sweet and innocent when a woman seduces a boy… but its perverted and paedophilic when the roles are reversed. The story thats leads up to this is about a group of young men ( boys) growing up and discovering life… its funny and beautiful. But you can not tell me that the ending would not have been as celebrated the other way around.. even more so today, I doubt if it would even be made… 😳
The impression you receive from the story changes completely depending on the age difference and position between the man and the woman, and the swapping of those positions. I think this is influenced by the social condition and the historical background. It is what they call 'conventional wisdom in human society'. So, you are probably right. I accepted this story as it was, written based on the author's experiences. I don't think about what would have happened if the male and female roles or ages were reversed. I just see it as a fictional story. So it's not surprising that there are individual differences. Comment for this film thank you so much.

鄧麗君的歌曲與電影《La Strada》無關。 標題中使用了“Gelsomina”、但 我認為《The Path that Gelsomina Walked》是她的原創歌曲。
